Hi, I have a VASP application which genarates an MMS and with the help of NowMMSC it will try to delivery it to a handset. I want to know what i have to configure to get back the delivery report. I guessing that I have to create s new route for this. But give me the actual step to do this. Your information will be great help for me Thanks, Vijay | |||

Hi Vijay, You need to request a delivery report, of course (the method of doing this varies by interface ... such as <DeliveryReport>true</DeliveryReport> in MM7). Beyond that, there needs to be an "MMSC Routing" defintion that defines how the MMSC sends messages back to your application. You can define the sender address for the messages you send as "Recipient addresses to route" for the "MMSC Routing" definition. This way, when the MMSC has a delivery report to route back to that sender address, it knows what route to use. Also, you should use the same "Account Name" for both the "MMSC VASP" and "MMSC Routing" definition. This way, the MMSC knows that if the original message was submitted by this "MMSC VASP", it should route any delivery reports back via the "MMSC Routing" of the same name.
