Hi, I can't seem to enable delivery receipts for wap push messages on Vodafone UK. I can get back receipts for SMS on Voda UK and if I change the SIM to o2 or Orange UK I get delivery receipts back on WAP push messages, but can't seem to do it on Voda UK. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks, Moz | |||

Hi Moz, Unfortunately, delivery receipt support when submitting via a GSM modem is operator specific. The only things I could think of suggesting if it is not working in this particular scenario are: 1.) Trying a different SIM from the same operator, just to make sure it is not SIM specific (which I doubt) 2.) Try changing the DCS value that is used for WAP Push messages to see if this makes a difference. Edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header add BinaryDCS=4. (Note: If this doesn't make a difference, then go back and remove this setting. While this setting should work ok, I seem to recall reading info about an old incident where it caused WAP Push messages to be lost when sending via a GSM modem on Vodafone.) -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
