I use “Send MMs Message” in now sms

When I send mms message attached “test.mms”, I receive mms message

But received message is lost “vNote” file. vNote file is included in the “test.mms”file

I send the mms message attached “test.mms” by mobile phone to mobile phone

When I send mms message attached “test.mms” by phone to phone , received message is not lost

I want to know the reason.

Thank you

I'm sorry ... but I don't really have enough information to answer your question.

What information would I require?

I need to know more information about your configuration.

For example, when you send an MMS message using NowSMS, how is NowSMS configured to send that message? Is NowSMS acting as a direct delivery MMSC? Is NowSMS connecting to a GPRS modem and submitting it via the operator MMSC?

If you do not know how to answer these questions, enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG and MMSCDEBUG.LOG files (on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog). Send the message again, and post those files in reply.

Thank you for your answer.

Our NowSMS act as a direct delivery MMSC.

I attach SMSDEBUG.LOG, MMSCDEBUG.LOG and MMSC-20090218.LOG

Received phonenumber is 22111213.

MMS sending time is at 15:27

Hi,

Thanks for posting the logs.

The UAProf file for the receiving device (http://gsm.lge.com/html/gsm/LG-CU515.xml) does not list text/x-vNote as one of the content types supported by the MMS client.

If "Content Adaptation" (Enable Dynamic Image + Audio Conversion) is enabled on the MMSC, then it filters out any content types that are not supported by the receiving device.

If you disable this setting, then this filtering will not occur.

If you are developing the client, and need to fix the UAProf file to indicate that it accepts this content type, note that NowSMS does not refresh its cache of UAProf files, you can delete files from the UAProf subdirectory to force NowSMS to refresh them.
