Bryce,

I am having problems trying to retrieve an MMS from my gateway. I've downloaded version 5 from you site today and have set it up according to your documentation.

I am able to send MMS's fine, from both the web interface and my mobile phone. I can track the MMS being received, processed and being sent through my gateway.

The only problem that occurs is when my phone comes to retrieve the MMS from my gateway. I have a SE T610 and the new MMS appears in my inbox, and when I click it, it starts to download it as normal. However, an error appears saying Communication Error. I am using the same settings to download as well as send the MMS's.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks, Nathan

I have just tried sending an MMS through the web frontend and I received it with no problems at all.

So the error only occurs when I send it from my phone.

Look forward to your help.

I have tried sending and receiving from a Nokia 6600 using the same settings I have entered into my T610 and it works fine.

So is there some strange setup tweak I need to do on my T610 to be able to receive MMS from my gateway?

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening on any Sony Ericsson T610? I have tried the Nokia 6600 and they can send and receive them fine with the same settings I have used on my T610.

Do the T610's work differently when receiving MMS's? In that they appear on the phon in the Picture inbox, but you need to click them to download them? This only occurs if I send an MMS from a phone to a phone. But if I send an MMS through the web interface of my MMSC, the MMS downloads fine to my T610 and I can view it fine.

This is really bugging me and any help is much appreciated.

Thanks, Nathan

I have solved the problem.

In the Local Host Name or IP Address, I had the written domain name of my MMS server. I changed it to the actual IP Address and everything works fine.

Nathan,

I'm glad you were able to get things sorted. I've had a difficult week finding the time to get back out here to the discussion board.
