Hello,

We are currently trying to set up an inbound MM7 connection and recieve MMS's to the MMSIN directory, but have reached a problem where our provider cannot provide HTTP auth credentials and will only commit to two /24 subnets of IP addresses.

Working off the doco here:
http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Configuring_MMS_VASP_Accounts.htm

It seems like each account must have either auth credentials or a specific IP address, meaning we'd have to set up hundreds of VASP's to make this work which obviously is suboptimal.

Is there any way to set up a VASP for an IP range without credentials rather than just an IP, or to set up a VASP that requires absolutely no authentication (And we'll deal with the IP filtering at the router/firewall), or is there a method you'd recommend for solving this?

Hi Des, Thank you very much for the quick reply. I saw that authentication listed next to the other methods but didn't realize it also worked for MM7.

Thanks for pointing that out Tim.

Many of the HTML documentation links are based on old versions of the manual, and they haven't been updated as we notice missing information.

I just updated that particular web page via cut & paste with the latest version of that section of the documentation.
