Hi, I am currently performing some tests with now SMS MMS Gateway & MMS sending & retrieving is OK. I have encountered the following issue recently. There is an option in MMSC to download uaprof files from the internet . since I don't have direct connectivity to internet , I have configured HTTP proxy server IP & port in MMSC.ini file to download uaprof files . The HTTP proxy server requests username & passwords. please tell me how define the credentials for this. | |||

Hi, Unfortunately there is no setting that allows an authorisation header to be sent to a proxy server. I did do some looking into this, and it would not be very difficult to add this (as long as the proxy is using basic authentication). However, we're finalising a new release, and we're deferring any non-critical changes right now as they complicate the testing process. We can revisit this issue in a couple of weeks, but unfortunately for now, there is no setting that allows a proxy username/password to be specified. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
