Hi, i have recently installed v2009, i use Itegno GPRS Wireless modem,'n i'm using Telkomsel Indonesia, i can send/receive SMS, but when i tried to test MMS connection, i get error "Unable to connect to WAP gateway" Also, if I try and submit a MMS from the WEB interface, nowsms does not even attempt to connect to the SP via the GPRS modem. It says 'Message Submitted' but never dials out. Any idea on this? thanks for the help

Hi, Your settings all look correct. However, when the GPRS connection is made, we are unable to communicate with the WAP gateway. Here's what I'd try ... Can you connect to your modem with HyperTerminal or another terminal program? Issue the following commands: AT+CGDCONT=1 AT+CGDCONT=2 AT+CGDCONT=3 AT+CGDCONT=4 This will remove all of the access point definitions that are already defined on the modem. Some modems get confused when there are multiple access point definitions. If that doesn't resolve the problem, try changing the WAP gateway IP address field to this: http://10.1.89.150:8000 (Include the "http://" prefix, even though this doesn't seem to make sense. It is a signal to tell NowSMS to use the WAP2/HTTP proxy instead of the WAP1/WSP proxy.) -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||
