Hi,

Currently I do not have a clear idea about what is the authorized body to define standards for MMS.
As per my knowledge , earlier it was 3gpp who defined standards for MMS such as 22.140 , 23.140 etc ...
Later OMA introduced MMS standards as version 1.1 , 1.2 & 1.3
(please correct me if I am wrong)

So my question is what is the authorized body to define MMS standards ?

Thanks in advance,

Kumara.

Hi,

3GPP defines MMS.

However, it only defines MM1 in an abstract fashion.

OMA defines the actual technical realisation of MM1.

For MM1 details, go to OMA. For all other MMS related protocols, go to 3GPP.
