Hi, I am trying to setup a MMSC VASP account. I want to receive MMS from the operator. A mobile sends a MMS to a shortcode and the operator's MMSC forwards it to NowSMS. I set up the account from NowSMS side. Now from the operator's side, i use port 8080 to post the MMS. (I am using EAIF in this case). http://myip:8080/eaif In the log file MMSC 20091108, i get USER NOT DEFINED... Failed I am a bit lost here... Waiting for your feedback, thank you.

Do either of the following: 1) change the username of the VASP account to match the IP address from which the provider is connecting. 2) modify the URL on the provider side to include user account info. That is, http://myip:8080/eaif/username=password --Des | ||||

It worked.... Thanks... Now i need to do the same thign but with MM7, it's on port 2007.. right?? Does it automatically listen to it or do i need to configure it to be a listenting port somehow... | ||||

MM7 listens on the same port as EAIF. Just be sure that anyone posting uses a URL of the same format as EAIF, just substitute MM7 (like http://myip:8080/mm7/username=password) -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||

I am still having problems. I took a dump from the MMSC side and here is how it looks like. It seems that the application replies with a success. However, the MMS is never received to the application.
