Can you please provide more detail about what exactly you are doing? Also, note that while the phone may have one limit, it is possible that the WAP gateway through which you are connecting may have a smaller limit. (You could always try our test gateway at 213.48.20.10.) Another tip ... if you are sending a push link directly to the 40K content file, some phones don't react to this so well. Send a push that points to a WML page that links to the content file. (Yes, this means another click, but it is more reliable across more phones.)

What is the URL that you are requesting (pushing)? Have you tried connecting to it through our test gateway at 213.48.20.10? Although the phone has a limit that is larger than your file, note that the operator gateway through which you are connecting might have a size restriction of its own. -bn

Well, I'm confused. Originally we were talking about a push SI, then an MMS. I was suggesting that you try going through a different WAP gateway to see if that makes a difference. The push goes out over SMS, but when you go to retrieve the content, the WAP browser fetches it through the WAP gateway settings in your phone. Let's back up a minute though, and forget about trying another gateway. Forget about the push ... what happens if you try to retrieve the URL associated with the push from the WAP browser by manually keying it in. Does that work? |
