Based upon your log file, your system is configured to send MMS by using the inbuilt MMSC of NowSMS (direct delivery of MMS using a combination of SMS and WAP technologies).

So it may be using your GPRS modem to send SMS, but it is not performing the complete transaction over MMS.

See http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/485/1958.html for a description of the two different ways to configure NowSMS to send MMS messages. (Direct delivery as an MMSC, or routing messages to an operator MMSC such as over a GPRS modem.)

If you intend to use NowSMS to perform direct delivery as an MMSC, then please see the troubleshooting tips in the following link:

http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/2879.html

To configure NowSMS to submit MMS messages to an operator MMSC over GPRS, see:

http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Connecting_to_operator_MMSC.htm

After reading manuals, and discussion group entries I still didn't mange to send mms messages with url submission.
I want to use the now sms build in smsc, so I used the web interface and all I got is a *.mms file on my hard drive
And no message was sent.

I was using something like the following url as a text in my browser :

http://127.0.0.1:8800/?PhoneNumberxxxxxxx&MMSFrom=sender@domain&MMSSubject=Message+Subject&MMSText=An+optional+text+part+of+the+message& MMSFile=http://www.nowsms.com/media/logo.gif

your help will be appreciated.

NowSMS has a built-in MMSC, not an SMSC.

Are you able to send SMS through the NowSMS web interface?

Are you able to send a WAP push message through the NowSMS web interface?

Is the "Local Host Name or IP Address" setting on the "MMSC" page of the NowSMS configuration a valid IP address or host name for connecting to the PC running NowSMS over the internet?

What mobile operator are you using?

Answer : NOWSMS is running on my p.c so i have 127.0.0.1 is this field.

What mobile operator are you using?

I'd rather do it all without any help of an
operator since no outside access to mms gateway
is possible

Hi
In addition to previous message I did the following:
Opened my ip address to an outside connection
Created an sms message through the web interface
Copied the .mms file to my web server with the ip I mentioned
Sent a mms notification message
The message was not received.

I attach all the log files available

I read the stuff in http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/2879.html
but i dont think i am there yet since you can see errors in the log file.

Please advice.
