Hi, I'm using Nokia 3650 as modem. I successfully sent a SMS using NowSMS, but cannot send MMS (using web interface). I'm interested in using the "Connecting to an Operator MMSC" method as described on page 105 of nowsms5.pdf. But still not too clear how to set the configuration. I know these values of my operator: * Connection Name * Data Bearer * Access Point Name * Username * Prompt Password * Password * Authentication * Gateway IP address * Homepage * Connection Security * Session Mode Could you please guide me where to put the values in NowSMS? The NowSMS settings are on the right, matched with their equivalents in your table above: Server Address = Homepage Login Name & Password beneath this field should be left blank. WAP Gateway IP Address = Gateway IP Address GPRS APN = Access Point Name Login Name = Username Password = Password The other settings are either specific to the phone, or NowSMS uses a particular default setting. For example: Connection Name - this is used only to identify the connection on the phone Data Bearer - This will always be GPRS in NowSMS (unless you configure a custom dial-up profile) Prompt Password - NowSMS will not prompt for a password before each connection, it will just use the password configured Authentication - PAP is always used by NowSMS Connection Security - NowSMS does not use Session Mode - NowSMS always uses connection-oriented WSP (a.k.a., port 9201, a.k.a., Permanent) | |||
