In the documentation, it says that using now mmsc you can bypass the operator gateway. Does this mean that you do not need mmsc account with an operator to be able to send mms messages to mobile phones | |||

Yes and no. It depends on whether or not the target operator's network is open to external MMSCs. Please see http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/589.html for a description of how MMS works. | |||
