Hi Bryce,

I followed the way you told me earlier: adding a SMIL file as a part of the MMS message contents. I sent the new MMS message (contains three media content files and a SMIL file) via the Now SMS web interface ('Send MMS message') however the message I received later on my mobile phone is still like an E-mail with media attachments (the SMIL file did not appear in those attachments). I don't know what is still wrong.

I have attached my SMIL file in this post. If you have any idea about it please give me some suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Xin

Hi Xin,

That looks good to me. The only concern I would have is the region="Image" parameters, which I would suggest removing, as you do not have any regions defined. That might be enough to cause a SMIL interpreter to reject the SMIL.

I tried your SMIL with my own GIF files (removed the video reference), and it worked fine sending to a SonyEricsson T630.

I'd suggest you try a simple test first, just include a single image, and gradually get more advanced.

If it's not working with only a single image, then let's take a closer look at what is going on.

I'd be interested in seeing an MMSCDEBUG.LOG to make sure that I understand what is happening. To enable the MMSCDEBUG.LOG, manually edit MMSC.INI, and under the [MMSC] header, add Debug=Yes, then restart the MMSC service.

Submit the message again, and I'd be interested in seeing the MMSCDEBUG.LOG that is generated.

Hi Bryce,

Many thanks for your help. I will have a try with a modified SMIL file.

Cheers,

Xin
