To the NowSMS support:
why no one answer us ?????????

we want to make a vasp mms machine to recieve mms from a service provider.....
so we created a MMS vasp account....
i successfuly recieved mms in the MMS-IN directory
but we got two problems

1 - The NOW-SMS returns delivery report 0 to the service provider which means the mms successfuly delivered.....but the service provider needs to change the delivery report to 1000 instead of 0 ,can you please send us another version with the delivery report field that can be controled.
I am using NowSMS version 5.5a (it is updated version which you sent us before to have the ability to change the sender and reciever port)

2 - I want to change the MMS-IN directory for each VASP account.
That means that i need different Directory for each VASP account....
IS THERE ANY ONE COULD HELP ME IN THAT....?

PLEASE WE NEED YOUR HELP .....
THANKs

Apologies for the delay in response, several circumstances have caused us to fall behind in responding to inquiries.

1.) Are you running v5.51? It sounds like you are running an earlier version of NowSMS, and connecting to an Ericsson MMSC. As we attempted to reverse engineer Ericsson's pseudo MM7 protocol, we initially found examples in their documentation that suggested that a status code of 0 should be returned.

However, actual connections to an Ericsson MMSC revealed that they expected a status code of 1000, just like in the MM7 standard (even if the format in which the status code is returned is different).

So I believe that you need v5.51.

2.) We may consider this in future versions. At present, all I can suggest is doing your own filtering based upon the "TO:" header of files in the MMS-IN directory.

If you are not receiving to "TO:" header (which is possible with some Ericsson MMSC connections), then you will notice all messages arriving being addressed to "unknown@unknown". To fix that problem, you can assign a default recipient address for each "MMSC VASP" account which will allow you to distinguish which messages were received from which account. To do this, edit VASPIN\accountname\VASP.INI, and under the [VASP] header, add DefaultRecipient=abcdefghijk

There is no need to edit the status code.

The status code is always 1000.

MMSC.INI is in the NowSMS directory.

VASP.INI, as described above, exists for each account defined in the "MMSC VASP" dialog. VASPIN\accountname\VASP.INI is the location, where "VASPIN\accountname" is a subdirectory below the NowSMS installation.
