Which would be the proper backup strategy(folders or files to backup) and the proper recovery procedure?
Thanks,
Ricardo

Hi Ricardo,

All data is stored below the Program Files\NowSMS directory structure.

What files you really need to restore from backup for recovery depends on how you are using the system.

The program files and basic configuration information are in the root NowSMS directory. This directory also contains the *.LOG files which are not essential to be backed up/recovered unless you need information in them for your own purposes.

Other directories:

AudioBin - program files
DLists - user distribution lists for the web interface
Help - help files
HTML - user interface for the web interface
ImageBin - program files
InstallGuide - documentation

OTA - Directory can contain user defined files for use in sending out OTA
Q - Queue contains SMS messages that are queued for outbound delivery
SMS-IN - Directory used for processing received SMS messages for 2-way SMS.
