Hi Bruce, Was evaluation NowSMS before purchasing it,my requirement is just to receive a MMS ,am using the Siemens MC 35i as a modem,I am able to send and recv SMS on it (using COM1 as modem),when i send a MMS from another phone ,am able to receive the SMS notification,The problem comes when i enable receive MMS option in the SMSC properties,in the "Use speific n/w connection" there is no COM1 displayed so I installed my MC35 as a modem from a control panel and took out COM1 from smsc and added the new modem in smsc.was able to send and recv SMS ,also tested out the GPRS conn with my telco,but I am unable to receive any MMS or MMS notification ,also no activity on the logs as well,have enabled all of them.Thanks in advance. Hi Parikshit, In order to send/receive MMS over a GPRS modem, you need to have a modem driver installed for the modem instead of just using COMx. So it sounds like you are on the right path there. When an MMS message is sent to the phone number of the modem, no activity occurs? There should be some activity in SMSDEBUG.LOG if the MMS notification is received. I do recall someone else who is having some problems on Starhub. In their case, they are receiving a blank SMS instead of an MMS notification. Can you put the SIM that you are using with the modem into an MMS compatible phone and verify that you can send and receive MMS ok with the phone using that SIM? -bn | |||
