Could there be more log options. Perhaps a setting that would make the program make a backup of todays smsdebug.log renamed to eg.: smsdebug_09-05-2003.log | |||

It's something worth us considering. Those logs can just get so big on a busy system (not to mention slow things down), that we usually don't like to have them enabled unless a specific problem is being investigated. | |||

I undestand that. But if we are to be able to service our customers 100% we have to be able to make lookups in various logfiles. You could make it a bit like the windows event viewer log, where you can set the maxsize of a logfile. If the size exceeds it, it creates a new logfile. Then its up to the server admin to get larger disks ;) | |||
