Hi Swathi, When you say your system restarts, does NowSMS display a message about having updated the modem settings before the system is restarted? Or does the system restart with no warning? If it happens with no warning, then there is a system level problem with the modem driver. I would suggest uninstalling the software for your modem, and attempting to reinstall it. Also check the web site of the modem manufacturer to see if they have updated software. If instead, there is warning before the restart, where NowSMS displays a message indicating that it has updated the modem driver, but NowSMS displays this same warning every time you try the connection, then this means the modem is not allowing the APN to be set. There is one trick that can be used in this situation. Go into the Phone and Mkdem Options area of the Windows Control Panel. Locate your modem, and go into Properties for that modem. In Extra Initialization Commands, add AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelmms.com" If you wish to continue this dialog, please try to avoid starting a new discussion thread, and instead use the area below the existing message to reply on the same thread. This helps keep our discussion together to avoid confusion. -- Des NowSMS Support |
