HI, i keep getting errors trying to set up the connection, i first got an error of WAP gateway not found. i have looked on internet and changed to this.. But now get 'connection failed' I am using: APN: general.t-mobile.uk Login: user password: one2one Wap gateway: 149.254.211.010 mms server: http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002 any help to get this working would be appreciated. | |||

Hi, If you can get back to where the error is with connecting to the WAP gateway, try a gateway IP address of: http://149.254.201.135:8080 A number of providers seem to be retiring old gateways lately ... or not maintaining them properly. A general connection failure would suggest a problem with APN name or login/password (or signal strength). Those settings look fine, although many sites seem to now be recommending a password of tm. Some recommend a username of t-mobile. Most operators do not require a login/password. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

OK, i am going to have a bit more of a play and see how i get on. off subject a little bit... can the LITE version forward MMS to email address? | |||

Hi Andrew, Unfortunately no. The current e-mail implementation in NowSMS is based upon a full SMTP e-mail server. It was far too complicated to work that into a model that would work for NowSMS Lite. It is an area where we are exploring alternative implementations for future versions. But for the near future, the answer is No. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hi Andrew, I will ask one of my sales colleagues to contact you. For the web access, as long as the computer is accessible over the internet with the port allowed in a firewall, yes. (Or, if behind a router, port forwarding must be enabled.) Basically it is the same issues as running any other type of web server on the computer. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
