Hi, If I have 5 modems, and I want to send MMS messages out so that they use any modem, how can I do this when only one modem can be a default route?

Hi, If this is an Android modem, under properties of the modem configuration in the SMSC list, check "Support any outbound message traffic". ![]() For other modem types, under properties of the modem configuration in the MMSC Routing list, The “Route messages to this account for recipient phone number(s)” field, enter * ![]() (For Android modems, NowSMS links the SMS and MMS routing definitions. That is why I suggested applying the setting in the SMSC list. Enabling that setting will apply the * to the MMSC Routing.) Any MMSC Routing definitions with * will override the default MMS route. If multiple routes have the *, then effectively there are multiple default routes. -- Des NowSMS Support

So this could also be used to route to multiple modems without specifying numbers? Say if you had 2 modems attached to each of the 6 or 7 nowsmS licences you could add 2 modems each and it would alternate or?

Sort of....I wouldn't use the word alternate as technically the distribution is random. |
