So, On two of the computers that I am running NowSMS on were running windows 8.x, and they recently got updated to the windows 10 platform and since then they no longer send MMS messages.

Now I have tried changing and then re-adding the modem but that does not change anything, after doing that when I go to test, the SMS button is able to be clicked on but the MMS test button is grayed out?

If I somehow get the button to work but changing settings or adding a different modem I had hooked up to a different computer and I click send a test MMS it never goes through, it just says sending and never changes.

Please let me know how else I could trouble shoot this as these 2 computers are just sitting idle since all I use this for is sending MMS messages..

Hi Robert,

Use the following article to resolve the problem: http://www.nowsms.com/windows10

The short story is that the Windows 10 upgrade process sometimes corrupts the service entries for NowSMS. The solution is to remove the services and add them back. However, it is a little tricky...so use the steps in that article.

I am sorry an update, I was just going over the notes and to clarify, The initial Windows 10 update it still worked, it was an update that took place after windows 10 but an update to Win 10 that disabled the MMS ability.

It does sound like the same underlying problem. I'd try the steps in that document.

My guess is that the SMS service is ok, but the MMS service needs to be removed and re-added (and the task may need to be manually stopped). The fact that the MMS button is initially greyed out supports this theory.
