I have spotted an issue when using 2-way commands with MMS messages and SMSAccountingURL

When using this it was is sending the MMS messages using 2-way to the email without the text body these were being sent to the accountingURL and logged in the database.

we want the text to be kept in the body of the email, to fix this I applied DuplicateUserReceiptsFor2Way=true.

This keeps the text in the email message with the image attachments fine but the Text parameter is no longer sent in the post to the SMSAccountingURL. But the data posts are?

looking at what i sent when the DuplicateUserReceiptsFor2Way is not set the text part of the MMS looks like a standard SMS post but when the DuplicateUserReceiptsFor2Way is set this does not appear to be sent and is skipped for the data posts.

Is there any way to keep the text parameter in to post to the SMSAccountingURL and the email body?

Hi Matthew,

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble understanding.

Routing a received MMS to an email address does not trigger SMSAcccountingURL.

But routing an email to SMS might, and its uses an older format that does not include the message text.

And DuplicateUserReceiptsFor2Way=true should not have any effect because these messages are not delivery reports.

For MMS to email, using 2-way commands, you could define both an HTTP command and a forward-to email. The HTTP command could do your logging. (Except if "Automatically Route SMS Replies to E-Mail" is set, as this will override the 2-way command.)

For email to SMS or MMS, the callbacks don't include the text.
