Hi Bryce, Do you know if a Nokia 6610i supports OMA OTA. If so do you have an example MMS document that works? Thanks | |||

I believe that it should use OMA OTA. It looks like the 6610 used the old OTA, but since the 6610i has an XHTML browser, my experience has been that those Nokia phones use the OMA OTA instead. I'd try using the web form in NowSMS first. Hi Bryce, I have since tried a 6610i and it does not support OMA/OTA. It is WAP 1.2.1 device. I think you have to buy a WAP 2.0 with XHTML browser phone to be sure to get an OMA compliant mobile. Thanks Thanks Thanks | |||

I'll take your word for it. But according to the Nokia web site, the 6610 is WAP 1.2.1, and the 6610i is WAP2.0/XHTML. Of course, the Nokia web site could be wrong. In any case, if it doesn't support OMA OTA, use the old WAP OTA. Start with our WAP OTA form, and do not specify a "Home Page URL" ... only specify "MMS Message Server URL". -bn | |||
