Hi, I would like to do a MMS broadcast but seems like using one GPRS modem is not enough to take the load. I tried to configure the NowSMS to route the MMS to different modems, but seems like there is no option for me to define multiple alternative routes(can only select one default route). Therefore, I would like to know is NOWSMS G/w can support multiple GPRS modems for the out-going traffic? SMS traffic can be fired via few modems, can MMS does so? Thanks. : Nicholas

Hi Nicholas, Yes, you can do this. Put * in the "Route messages to this account for recipient phone number(s)" entry for each of the "MMSC Routing" definitions. -bn

I have a Samsung E820 given to me by a friend which was with T-Mobile but I got it unlocked so I could use O2 sim. However the GPRS settings and MMS do not work despite O2 sending them to me on numerous occasions. I get the message Internet service not enabled. Is there a solution to this you can offer. Thanks

Sorry, I can't help with any misconfigured mobile phones. I'd like to help, but I just don't have the time. This forum is for support of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, and I have to focus my attention on support issues that relate to our products. For mobile phone configuration issues, you might want to try a more general discussion forum that focuses on mobile phone usage, such as www.howardforums.com or www.esato.com. -bn |
