Hi need help with the config of nowsms. I am part of a small research team for a small company in South Africa. We were given the job to find a cost effective and efficient way to send mms's to our customers, this will only be pictures and some text. We have tried a lot of options. the now option seemed to be the best thus far. Q is it possible to send mms from a server(a normal pc utilized only for this purpose) If so do we need to use a gsm(gprs capable modem or phone) or can we use a current internet connection to interface to the operator? Q Can this be done by using a custom interface using vb or java. Q Can you provide any help in the configuration process of the software, I understand the basic concept of mms sending: in normal application the phone's software is in charge of composing the mms by adding all the relevant media and compressing it by using certain predefined headers and meta data.(correct me if i am wrong please) then it gets "uploaded" to the mmsc of your operator, from there on it is the work of the operator to send the message.(once again correct me if i am wrong) We want only to send the mms to our clients from a server/pc I am having problems understanding what to enter in the mmsc configuration tab of the your app. All the info on the help and configuration info lists nowsms, is this a service you provide or do you only provide the app. What info should we enter, our operators info or is this for providing info of our server? I am really in the dark! Sorry if this is vague I am also not really sure what to ask  Please reply asap. Regards Johan Buys. | |||
