Why WAP Push menu is not visible? I don’t see a WAP Push message sending option after logging in with credentials. Normal SMS is delivered to phone without any issue but not WAP Push message. Please guide us to send WAP PUSH messages. | |||

Hi, I have installed NowSMS Gateway, Added SMS Users, Ran the SMS Gateway Service, Launched the Web Interface. But i am not receiving any SMS/WAP Push messages to my phone number. | |||

Hi, I don't understand your question. Are you saying that the menu option to send WAP push is not visible in the NowSMS interface? (A) Or are you saying that the you send one it is not received? (B) I think you are saying (B). In which case, what is your SMSC connection? Android modems cannot send these messages. USB GSM modems can send WAP push, but some mobile operators block mobile originated WAP push. If using a provider, confirm they support WAP push, as many do not. Also, doo you already have experience using WAP push, or are you investigating using it? If investigating, I would not recommend. While it is still used as the basis for some other protocols, the SI/SL formats that were the original basis for WAP push are old and outdated. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
