I am using a trial cloud account with my Smpp client application. It works fine for sending and receiving, but I never receive delivery receipts for the messages I send. My application requests receipts for success and failure, but I never get any.
I do get receipts when I use SMPPSim emulator.

Is it something that needs to be enabled in my NowSMS configuration?

Hi Yury,

It depends on the mobile operator...most support delivery reports, but some do not.

Try submitting a message from the web interface, asking for a delivery report (click on the checkmark under the message text to find the option). Then, look under "Recent System Activity" to see if there is an inbound message that starts with the text \b(id:)

I suspect you will not see this delivery report because the mobile operator does not support them for mobile originated traffic.

If by some chance, you do see delivery reports for web, but not SMPP, then:

1.) For the SMS user account, make sure "Accept received messages for this user" is enabled.

2.) Ensure SMPP client bind is transceiver (not sender). I believe SMPPSim will deliver delivery reports over a sender only connection, but NowSMS will not.
