I'm trying to send a complete MMS-message (MMS_submit.req)) through a GPRS-modem connected to the serialport using AT-commands.
I have some problems doing this and wondering if my assumptions is correct....??

1) I try to make an GPRS-connection to my operator, this is working (I think...)

2) I now need to make an WSP-CONNECT to my operators WAP-gateway sending it as a PDU to the WAP-gateway

3) I now send a WSP-POST with my MMS-message as a PDU to the MMSC through the WAP-gateway.

I´m hope you can understand my question and have some answers!

Joseph,

Well, this is one of the configuration options for how to send MMS messages through our Now SMS/MMS Gateway. (The configuration is described here http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Connecting_to_operator_MMSC.htm)

For doing this yourself, there are some discussion threads out here about it.

I'd suggest searching this forum on keywords of WSP CONNECT. That's the first PDU that you have to send over a GPRS connection, so most of the threads that have discussed this have referenced that PDU.

How would I know if I've made a GPRS connection with the Wap Gateway? I've tried dial-up and it gets disconnected almost instantly.
