Hello, Quick questions relating to iPhones - I have not seen specific information relating to iPhone and nowsms gateway Compatatability, specifically in the 4 series and if so can they send SMS and MMS? and lastly when sending a SMS or MMS to another iPhone does it go throught the "iMessage interface" Sorry about all the questions Kind regards | |||

Hi, No, an iPhone cannot be used as a modem device through which messages are sent out. Only conventional GSM modems (i.e., USB stick modems with AT command interface), or Android phones. Messages are always sent via SMS or MMS standard protocols (not iMessage). -- Des NowSMS Support |
