Hey, For my thesis i must make GUI(=with J2ME) for a java-enabled GSM so i can send MMS-message to homegateway . At the homegateway runs a servlet(=in java) whose job is to examinate the incoming MMS and extract the various attachements(=mp3,photo).This must also be implemented by me.Printing of the photo or playing the mp3 in the local network is done by somebody else. My question is how can i send a MMS with my MMS-client(=GSM) to a homegateway(=to an ip-adress)and wich route did the MMS follows. The route : MMS-client --> WAP gateway --> MMS Relay/Server--->(other) MMS Relay/Server --> homegateway Please give me some help, usefull links are also welcome... note1: First stage is from wireless pc-client and not from MMS-client(=GSM) | |||

Well, I'd start by downloading the MMS specifications from the Open Mobile Alliance web site: http://www.openmobilealliance.org/wapdownload.html Beyond that, read some of the other postings out here, and maybe that will help you out. (Specific questions are good, but we're not going to write your thesis for you ...) -bn |
