Sorry, I don't understand your question. What exactly are you trying to do?

Purchased a new samsung A800 for my daughter's xmas, kept previous sim card and when trying to send a text message it asked for a PUK(Personal Unblocking Key) which was unavailable with sim card, incorrect PUK was keyed more than ten times, sim card cannot be used, now phone is sim locked? Contacted dealer who in turn contacted O2 who will transfer over to new sim. Dealer advised us that the phone may need "re-flashed" and to contact Samsung who reverted us back to o2.

Hope you can help with this request.

Regards

Sounds like the phone was locked. When you purchase a new phone on a contract, that phone is often locked so that it can only be used with SIM cards from the provider that you purchased the contract from. (They can do this because they subsidise the cost of the phone when you purchase a contract.)

I can't offer you any help on getting the phone re-flashed ... other than I would press the dealer to resolve the problem or give you a new phone.

If you're not getting anywhere with that approach, try a Google search with a query of "unlock samsung a800", and I think you'll find some potential hits.
