I want to send an MMS message from the Web Interface via the SMTP in the gateway. When I send the message. I have not configured any SMS settings, as I do not have a connection to any SMSC or SMS sending facility. Is there a way to send the entire MMS message via SMTP. How do I configure this? | |||

Is this question about the Now SMS/MMS Gateway product? (If so, it is better asked in one of the support forums for this product on this discussion board ... as this forum area is more for general MMS topics that are not product related.) If this is about the Now SMS/MMS Gateway, the quick answer is that we don't support this. If an MMS message is routed via SMTP, it is sent as a standard SMTP e-mail message with any images/multimedia components included as attachments. In the Now SMS/MMS Gateway, we do allow mobile phones to submit MMS messages to e-mail addresses via the built-in MMSC ... but we didn't see any value in allowing the web interface of the product to submit to an e-mail address. -bn |
