Dear support, I have the following inquiry, I’m trying to test Nowsms to send MMS by using vbscript as in the link “http://www.nowsms.com/download/sendmms.vbs.txt “ (although the link is corrupted, but I managed to use it). However, whenever I try to send an MMS, Nowsms sends two SMSs and on the receiving mobile it seems that the set is trying to retrieve the MMS but at the end it says MMS could not be received. I tried to use the web interface and the same error accrued. It worth mentioning that I’m not using Nowsms as MMSC and I identified a new route pointing to my service provider and I think I’ve configure it correctly. What do you think that I might done wrong. Thanks John

Hi John, Let's forget about the VBScript for now. If the same problem occurs when you are sending an MMS message from the web interface, then let's focus on that. This sounds like the issue described at http://www.nowsms.com/howmmsworks.htm. By default, NowSMS is configured to work as a direct delivery MMSC. For most environments, that configuration will not work. What you need to do is define an "MMSC Routing" definition that sends MMS via your modem. Then make sure that is defined as your "Default Route". http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Connecting_to_operator_MMSC.htm#UsingGPRS The one thing that can trip you up, is make sure that the phone number you are sending to is not listed in the "MMSC Users" list. Can you post a screen shot of your "MMSC Routing" configuration details? -- Des NowSMS Support

Hay Des thank you very much, it is working now. “The one thing that can trip you up, is make sure that the phone number you are sending to is not listed in the "MMSC Users" list” <--- This was my problem |
