I've been looking through the support discussion board but I can't find a conclusive answer for the following question:

Was there ever a known problem with the "Send XML Settings Document" feature where an OMA OTA (Client Prov) message may get truncated before sending.

If there was, would you know when it might have been fixed.

The reason for the enquiry is that we were investigating an issue in our own CP Client about a year ago and we found that if we created a large (ish) message and submitted it without a phone/modem connection, that the Q folder contained only 16 .req files each of which appeared to contain 128 bytes of WBXML (i.e. only 2048 bytes of data in total). When we tried to send such a message we found that the validation of the payload with the USERPIN HMAC did not work, when it was perfectly ok with smaller messages. We don't see the same behaviour with the 2008 version of NowSMS.

Thanks!

Yes, this is a known issue that was corrected starting with the 2007.05.03 release.
