Hi, That would break protocol. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? A transmit only connection? There may be a solution that does not break protocol that I can recommend if I can understand what you are trying to accomplish. Regards, Des NowSMS Support | |||

Scenario - In case of a network issue that deliver_sm from smsc doesn’t reaches ESME ( nowsms client) I.e we don’t get the deliver_sm_response from nowsms client than we put the deliver_sm in a queue to retry it again after 5 seconds. Our smsc only supports TRX mode We want to mimic and test this behaviour. | |||

Hi, There is actually a hidden setting that we use for testing this scenario, use at your own risk, as it can cause problems for connected servers. The following settings can be applied too the [SMPP - server:port] section of SMSGW.INI: BlockAllDeliver=Yes IgnoreReceivedMessages=Yes BlockAllDeliver=Yes - message is ignored, and deliver_sm_resp is NOT sent IgnoreReceivedMessages=Yes - message is ignored, but deliver_sm_resp is sent Regards, Des NowSMS Support | |||

The setting in question blocks NowSMS from generating the deliver_sm_resp. If you are trying to block a deliver_sm, then we need a more complete description of the message flow so that we can understand. | |||
