Dear Sir / Madam I have Nowsms gateway connected to the operator and connected to the customer via SMPP, and receive SMS message is activated on our connection, and the processing of received messages takes place on the server of the customer connected to us via SMPP, and things are working well, but now we need To activate a new response service for a specific received message, which we need to processed it on our server, and the rest of the other received messages will stay processed on the customer’s server as is the case now, but we encountered a problem. when we activate 2 way it doesn't work unless to deactivate receive sms message from the connection and we didn't find a way to resend the other received messages to the client could you please help on this thanks Faiz | |||

Hi Faiz, Unfortunately, your understanding is correct. If "Route SMS to local user" is set for an SMSC connection, all received messages will be routed to that user account. There is NO override to route some received messages to 2-way SMS command processing or to a different account. Is it possible to define a list of destination addresses and/or address patterns that should be routed to this existing customer? If that is possible, you would remove the "Route SMS to local user" setting. ("Receive SMS" should still be enabled.) This will make 2-way SMS command processing the default action for inbound messages. Next, under "SMS Users", where you have defined the existing customer account, under "Recipient addresses to route to this user", you can enter a comma delimited list of destination/recipient addresses to route to this customer. Address patterns can be wildcards such as “+44*” to match any phone number that starts with “+44”.) If NowSMS finds a match, then it looks for the longest mask that provides a match, and routes the message via the connection with the longest matching mask. (For example, if you were sending to +447624999999, and you had one connection with a mask of “+44*”, and another with “+447624*”, then the connection with the mask of “+447624*” would be used as it is a longer match than “+44*”.) Patterns consist of a phone number string, and can include the wildcard characters “*” and “?”. The “*” character matches any number of characters, and the “?” character matches any single character.
