We have a situation where we have an android with messages in the cue and then I add a new android that is tied to the same user but a different route.

The messages in the cue all switch to the new android and then don't get sent out and just sit there.

We would need to see the exact settings applied to be able to answer this question.

When a route is restricted to a particular user account, the preferred route for recipient setting (or “support any outbound message traffic”) is also applied. So, it would be a problem if a modem was restricted to a particular user and there are no number patterns defined for “Preferred SMSC connection” was listed and “support any outbound message traffic” is not enabled.

It is a little difficult to explain, But hopefully this helps.

Ok so I am clear in my understanding that even though I am restricting the modem to a specific user I still need to have Use for any outbound messages selected?

Here is what my config looks like nowscreenshot

Not sure if I am replying twice. I don't see my 1st one.

Are you saying that I need to have the use for any outbound messages checked?

I don't ever do that and I have every modem restricted to users.

Here is my setupscreenshot

Correct, “Use for any outbound messages” should be enabled. If “Allow only these users” is set, the connection will still be restrticted to only that allowed user.

There *might* be an issue where if a user is allowed on only one route, this other settting is ignored, but if the user is allowed on multiple routes, it is not.

Were these messages submitted via a user account HD105?

I can see the sender addresss is set to HD105, but unfortunately that list display does not show what user account. submitted the message. (sender and user account are not the same thing, so I am wondering if this could be the issue.).

Earlier in this thread, you showed the configuration for the Android modem HDWU004, and it has HD105 listed in the "Allow only these users" setting.

What does the configuration show for HD105a thru HD105g. (Based on the name, I'm assuming HD105 is an allowed user.)

And what about the configuration of HDWU001 thru HDWU004? We already know that HD105 is an allowed user on HDWU004.

Then it sounds like everything is working as expected. The display indicates that the message is eligible to be routed via any of those listed routes.
