Heya
i recently got a Samsung d500. i configured the settings for my network (virgin mobile) to send picture messages, but it still doesn't work (i can't send or receive picture messages!)
I'm able to use WAP though.
could this be a problem with my handset?
thanks for any help.

Kat,

This is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product. I am not able to offer assistance on configuration problems with mobile phones.

It sounds like the MMS settings aren't configured correctly, or the potentially MMS is not enabled for your account. Unfortunately, aside from contacting your mobile operator, I don't know what to suggest. This page has the relevant settings: http://www.mphone.co.uk/mms_wap_settings_virgin.html ... but you would need to consult D500 documentation for specifics of how the settings get configured in your phone.

Kerrie,

I spent 6 hours trying to figure out mms problems on my e720 and luckily i cracked the problem. Are you able to send mms? To get mms working on the e720, the correct profile settings have to be entered in messages>settings>mms for sending and retrieving. Then you have to confirm and activate the correct setting in Settings>internet>WAP profile. I am not a phone expert but it seems that mms and internet access are tied together. Good luck.
