Hi, I am trialing Now SMS with a Siemens M20 terminal however I am not able to connect to my SMSC via the M20 Terminal. I get the error "the modem is not SMS compatible". Help! | |||

Hi Brian, Does the SIM card in your modem require a PIN? If so, try putting the PIN into the NowSMS configuration. But if you still receive this error, try removing the PIN from the SIM. (The easiest way to remove the PIN is to place the SIM in a mobile phone and use the menus in the phone to remove the SIM.) If that still doesn't work, try the updated NowSMS at http://www.nowsms.com/download/latestpatch.zip. The latest update has additional functionality to wake up sleeping modems. -bn | |||
