Hello, I would like to test the "TP-RD" with nowsms but i don't know if it is possible: For me, reject duplicate is working like this : if an sms have the same sender and reference, with tp-rd set to 1, the sms is rejected by the smsc. How I could test this fonctionnality ? - Perhaps with sending xml file options. - Perhaps with at commands ? Any idea. Thanks. | |||

Hi Katia, We don't support setting this parameter in NowSMS. This is a parameter that is specific to the GSM modem interface. And while it could be potentially useful in situations where the GSM modem has marginal coverage ... our experience is that this setting requires the TP-MR (message reference) parameter to be set. And our experience has been that many GSM modems will ignore/override the TP-MR value if it is set by NowSMS. Therefore we let the modem set this value. -bn |
