hi i'm using nowsms and i have this probleme: unable to connect to smpp server at 10.10.10.5:60997 i'm using a vpn connection and i can ping the virtual adress 10.10.10.5 but when i use telnet 10.10.10.5 60997 the same probleme no connection can you please help me i told this probleme to my operator and they told me everything is ok! i think that the problem is in the port 60997 because of the firewall but when i told that to them they said that the firewall is open !!! thank you please it's urgent | |||

hi how can i enter sms connection i;m using dsl cable and i don't know any type of connection that i can use and any type of configuration can i use . | |||

Hi, If you can't use TELNET to connect to that port, then I would not expect NowSMS to be able to connect either. Unfortunately, I don't really know what to suggest, as it sounds like there is a firewall or VPN issue. -bn | |||

I'm sorry, but I can't help you there. As it states on the download page: "Please note that a connection to an SMS service provider, or a GSM modem is required to send messages using this software." To avoid any confusion, we should start by explaining that NowSMS is not a bulk SMS or MMS service provider. Also, NowSMS is not a replacement for a bulk SMS or MMS service provider. You need a connection to an SMS service provider, or a GSM modem, before you can send any messages with NowSMS. NowSMS is a middleware tool which simplifies the process of connecting to one or more of these service providers and/or managing one or more GSM modems. http://www.nowsms.com/whatisnowsms.htm -bn | |||

Hello,I am developing a interactive system using PHP and My SQL.Now, we have to send SMS to our paticipents.We want to use SMPP protocol to send SMS by NowSMS .Can you please tell me, how can I connect my system with NowSMS and how can we send SMS from our system through NowSMS .Will I need a mobile service operator's SMSC? There seems to be a common theme here. I've looked through the topics for an answer to my question and found the same issue repeatedly. That is, who are the SMSC providers and where are they? If Now.SMS listed some know SMSC providers on your pages, by country and suported protocols perhaps, Now SMS users could review / rank them. Despite hours on the phone and web, I have not managed to find an SMSC provider with internet connection in the UK! Any info or recommendation gratefully received! | |||
