help me please..  I want to sent SMS to my customer. I don't want to the message to show my phone number. I want it to show my Company name as SENDER. How to do this ? | |||

Hi David, If you are using a GSM modem to send the message, this is not possible. The operator SMSC will always apply the phone number associated with the SIM to the message that is sent. The only way to override the sender address, or to support an alphanumeric sender (such as a company name) is to send messages through a connection to an SMS service provider that supports these capabilities. -bn | |||

Hai I want to develop a program in java to send and receive sms. I know only Core java. Anyone who knows pls help me. Which modem and what are the tools that i want to use.
