Im just wondering, i want to text my cousin in Denver Colorado and i live in Manchester England, how do i do this or what number do i prefix my cousins number with to text? Thanks }} | |||

Hi, This is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, so I can only provide you with limited info. Basically, you should be able to text them using the same phone number format that you would use to call them. That said, I use "+" when adding phone numbers into my phone (instead of "00" that you would use in Europe, or "011" that you would use in the US). So a US number would have the format +1xxxxxxxxxx ... a UK number the format +44xxxxxxxxxxx. As for whether or not the message gets through, it depends on whether or not your mobile operator and your cousin's have SMS interoperability with each other. If cousin is on a major operator (as opposed to a smaller regional US operator), then chances are good that there is connectivity. -bn | |||
