Please help me, Im trying to test the software Now.sms i´ve connect a GSM motorola T720 with a USB data cable, but when i try to add the modem it says the modem does not support SMS | |||

Hi Arturo, Unfortunately, that would not surprise me. Very few Motorola phones provide GSM modem support for sending SMS messages. Motorola seems to be behind the curve in implementing this type of support in their phones. This particular error message indicates that NowSMS was able to detect that a modem is present, however the modem returns an error in response to the AT+CSMS=0 command, which would indicate that the modem does not support the AT command set for SMS. Double check to make sure that the COM port setting is correct, and that NowSMS isn't talking to an internal modem in your PC by mistake. But other than that, I suspect that the Motorola T720 does not have the necessary support.
