Hi,I had installed Now SMS and MMS Gateway which is free for 60 days, but it can't send message. All of the messages are submitted and can't be sent. I want to know what's the problem and how I can resolve it. Thank you !

Hi,

What type of SMSC connection do you have?

Please note that either an SMS provider (SMSC connection) or GSM modem is required to use this software.

Thanks for you quickly response !
I used GSM modem as SMSC. I have installed Now SMS&MMS Gateway in PC A firstly , it can send messages. After 60 days ,I installed it in PC B in the same domain with A and configured as same with A, but the messages are all in submitted status and can't be sent . Is this your design ? If not I want to know how to resolve ?If it is , I want to know how can I buy it and what's the price .Thanks !

Hi Sabrina,

Does the "Service" page in the NowSMS configuration display any errors?

Is the "SMS Failed" or "SMS Retried" statistic increasing? ("SMS Submitted" will increase every time you submit a message, what about other statistics?)

Check SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG (yyyymmdd is year month day, e.g., 20120627) ... does it report any errors?

If no errors are seen, enable SMSDEBUG.LOG. Restart NowSMS service. Submit another message. Reply with SMSDEBUG.LOG attached.

Sorry for late .
It can send message now after restart and configure GSM Modem several times .

There is no error in the "Service" page.The SMS Retried is increasing .
SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG is empty .After enable SMSDEBUG and restart the service , only submmitted message information in SMSDEBUG.log,but because of information security , I can send the log from company .

I don't know what to tell you.

If the retry count is increasing, there should be "Retry Pending" entries in the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG that include error information. (What version of NowSMS are you using? Maybe you are trying to use a very old version that does not record information this way?)

There should also be some record of sending attempts in the SMSDEBUG.LOG.

I'd need to see any related error information to have any hope of troubleshooting this problem.

If you do not wish to post it here, but can send it via e-mail, send to nowsms@nowsms.com with Attention: Des in the subject line of your message. Please reference this message thread in the e-mail so that I know what the problem is that I am to investigate in the log.
