i have NowSMS installed on a server, and it is working, but i have a delay issue.
when a customer sends a message, the system "nowsms" receives it and i can see it in the smsin log file,i configured the received sms command table and it is working.
but the message take a lot of time to be delivered to the URL i configured in the "command to execute".

what is the cause of this issue?

best regards...

Hi,

There are two possibilities.

How long is the delay? 1 minute or several minutes?

If it is 1 minute, then this usually indicates an invalid serial number. If you are trying to use a serial number that you did not purchase, then remove it, and just use the 60 day trial.

If it is several minutes, then this usually indicates that something is wrong with the 2-way command. By default, NowSMS processes received messages one at a time. It waits until the first message is processed by the command before processing the next one. If the 2-way command does not end itself properly, NowSMS will wait several minutes before going on to the next message.

If the above does not lead to a solution, then enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG. Send in more messages and reply to this post with an SMSDEBUG.LOG attached. From that log we can get a better idea of what is happening with the message processing.

i figured our the problem, there was a windows file system structure issue, that caused this terrible performance, i moved the system to a new server with a new operating system and it is working very well.

but how can i move the license from the old server to the new one?

Use the contact details at http://www.nowsms.com/contact (phone, email or web form).

Supply your contact details, company name, serial number, and the installation reference code from the new system. Include a reference to our discussion here (http link) to help expedite resolution.
