We want to forward incoming SMS messages as E-Mail, using our corporate SMTP server as a relay host. It is listening on port 2525. How do we configure NowSMS to always use mail.mycompany.org port 2525 when sending mail? I did search the manual for this, and found just about everything else we needed to know, just not this particular point. Thanks in advance Anthony

Hi Anthony, It should work if you specify a server name of mail.mycompany.org:2525 -- Des NowSMS Support

I've unchecked Enable SMTP Smart Mailer and entered my host in SMTP Relay Host: 10.11.10.50:2525 I've unchecked Automatically Route SMS Replies to E-Mail. In the 2-Way settings tab I've checked Process Received SMS Messages, and have added a command with the option Forward To E-Mail Address checked, and entered a destination address in the box. Receive Phone Number is empty. The SMS-IN log is showing that my messages are being received, but the delivery per E-Mail is not happening. At this stage I don't know whether the problem lies with the NowSMS configuration, or with the network and SMTP server. (Although I can successfully telnet to port 2525 from the NowSMS host and interact with the SMTP server, so the basics are working.) Does NowSMS log the inbound SMS processing and/or mail sending in any of its logs? Anthony
