Hi There,

Do you know whether the SMSNow gateway product supports the MultiTech external wireless modems? The modem I have is a MTCBA-G-UF2 GSM modem. The smsnow software seems to recongnize it (sometimes but not always) but I have not yet been able to successfully send a message via the device.
Thanks

I have one of those in our lab ... absolutely no problems with it.

To troubleshoot any problems, it would be helpful to see an SMSDEBUG.LOG showing message sending attempts. The easiest way to enable this log is to enable the checkbox on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog.

The model that I have is actually an MTCBA-G-F2 850/1900Mhz GPRS modem. It is the serial version.

USB should not be a problem, but you do need to install drivers in order to get any USB modem recognised by your system (a CD with drivers ships with the serial modem, so I'm sure a CD also ships with the USB model).
