I have connection to Nokia MMSC. and in headers field I see X_NOKIA_MMSC_VERSION: 2.0 Does it mean, that this MMSC suports MMS v.2.0 or it just version of MMSC soft/hard ? And another question: on forum.nokia.com I have found no documents about MMS-2.0, is somewhere docs described this protocol. Thank you. P.S. Sorry, but English is not my favorite language. | |||

Hi Vitaliy, That refers to the software version of the Nokia MMSC product, not the version of the MMSC specification. Most current MMS implementations are either MMS 1.0 or 1.1 (1.1 adds very minimal additional functionality). The MMS 1.2 specifications were just released this past week and can be found on the Open Mobile Alliance web site (http://www.openmobilealliance.org). -bn | |||

Thanks. MMS 1.2 adds minimal functionality too. Some Charging options..thats all. | |||

Well, MMS 1.2 does add the MMBox functionality which could be interesting. But, it is an optional feature ... and since it wasn't introduced from the beginning, it may not end up being very widely implemented ... | |||
